Steeltank A/S is a steel fabrication company with its administrative and factory facilities located in Esbjerg
Steeltank possesses many years experience with project planning and delivery of complete tank systems to Danish and foreign markets and in this capacity has delivered more than 350 large-sized tank systems for heat accumulation, biogas, chemicals, oil and raw material plants.
Steeltank also manufactures process tanks and hoppers with auger discharge as well as machines and transport systems for the fishing industry, mink feed factories and biogas plants.
Steeltank has acquired the certificate mandated pursuant to EN 1090-1.
This certificate grants us permission to calculate, produce and CE-mark building components of steel in execution classes EXC1, EXC2 and EXC3.
Tank projects are executed as primary contracts as well as subcontracts.
As part of the contract, we are also capable of casting tank foundations, insulating and coating the tanks or installing piping and electrical components.
Steeltank has approximately 40 employees distributed between workshop production, installation, service, project planning and administration.
The project department’s technical and administrative personnel possess the requisite experience and training to design, calculate and perform project management.
The installation division has the capacity and equipment to assemble complete storage tank facilities using hydraulic tank jacking systems.
Welding is performed by our permanent team of certified welders.
Smaller tanks and machines are delivered fully assembled from Steeltank’s factory. The factory has rolling, cutting, bending and welding equipment for manufacturing designs in mild and stainless steel.
Steeltank has established a quality assurance system based upon ISO 3834-2 and EN1090. The system ensures that Steeltank’s products are made in accordance with the contract and also comply with relevant legal requirements and standards.
